{"id":2679,"date":"2025-10-13T21:40:48","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T19:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fobdecor.szymondurczynski.pl\/?p=2679"},"modified":"2025-10-30T15:16:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T14:16:41","slug":"innowacje-w-swiecie-zamkniec-aluminiowych","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fobdecor.szymondurczynski.pl\/en\/innowacje-w-swiecie-zamkniec-aluminiowych\/","title":{"rendered":"We received funding from the European Union"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember50\"><strong>FOB-DECOR Sp. z o. o.<\/strong> acting as the Leader within the consortium in cooperation with the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes, received funding from the European Regional Development Fund under the programme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/fundusze-europejskie\/\">European Funds<\/a> for Modern Economy 2021-2027 for the implementation of the following project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember51\"><strong>Project title:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember52\">\u201cDevelopment and implementation of an innovative production technology and product in the form of significantly improved Pilfer Proof aluminum bottle caps as a result of R&amp;D work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember53\"><strong>Beneficiaries:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember54\">FOB-DECOR Sp. z o. o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember55\">\u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Institute of Polymer Materials and Dyes Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember57\"><strong>Project description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember58\">The aim of the project is to carry out development work by the Consortium Leader \u2013 Fob-Decor and the Consortium Member \u2013 \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes, concerning the development and implementation of production technology (process innovation) and Pilfer Proof closures (product innovation) with a high ecological aspect and improved quality compared to the current production and competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember60\"><strong>The effect in the area of product innovation will be:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increasing the point load resistance of closures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>stabilization of the tearing force parameter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember63\"><strong>The result in the area of process innovation will be the development of proprietary UV LED technology in the UV LED printing and varnishing process, enabling:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reducing the consumption of ink for printing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reducing gas consumption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reducing the thickness of the cap wall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reducing VOC emissions in the painting process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember66\"><strong>R&amp;D module<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember67\">The R&amp;D module is divided into 6 R&amp;D tasks as part of the implementation of development work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember68\">Task 1 \u2013 Fob-Decor \u2013 development of UV LED technology for printing the side of aluminum closures on a laboratory scale, including material preparation by oil-free embossing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember69\">Task 2 \u2013 IMPiB \u2013 development of innovative varnish products for printing with UV LED technology on aluminum closures produced using oil-free technology for bottles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember70\">Tasks 3 and 4 \u2013 Fob-Decor \u2013 development and construction of pilot, preliminary tests of UV LED printing and varnishing modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember71\">Task 5 \u2013 IMPiB \u2013 validation of the developed innovative varnish products for printing on aluminum bottle closures produced using UV LED technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember72\">Task 6 \u2013 Fob-Decor \u2013 validation in real-world conditions of significantly improved Pilfer Proof caps and UV LED printing and varnishing technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember73\">Innovation Implementation Module: The Innovation Implementation Module will be used for further work aimed at implementing the R&amp;D results obtained in the R&amp;D Module into Fob-Decor&#039;s own production operations. The implementation phase will include the purchase and installation of production equipment necessary to implement the R&amp;D results, as well as the launch and introduction of improved caps to the product range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember75\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember76\">The results of the work are primarily intended for the wine industry. Customers will benefit from improved environmental performance in cap production, as the product will be manufactured sustainably. A second aspect is the mechanical properties of the innovative product (resistance to ovalization and stabilized breaking force), which are also improved as a result of the project, exceeding market standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember77\"><strong>Total project value:<\/strong> 17,859,985.74 PLN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"ember78\"><strong>Amount of contribution from European Funds:<\/strong> 7,937,132.08 PLN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are proud to announce that FOB-DECOR, in a consortium with the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network, has received European funding to develop groundbreaking Pilfer Proof closures.
